For starters, Cameron’s a little shit. Secondly, he hasn’t actually offered extra devolution to Scotland, he’s merely said that he would consider offering extra powers to Scotland in the event of Scotland voting against independence. The word consider is very important here, seeing as it means that no actual promise or even a vague outline of potential policy has been made.

Believe it or not, it’s of very little importance to you whether or not Scotland leaves the United Kingdom. If anything, the amount of money Whitehall would save would be good for us. The idea of a ‘United’ British Isles is a lovely one and realistically, one I doubt would actually change all that much if Scotland were to vote in favour of Independence seeing as our countries are so dependent on each other. If I’m wrong, I’m sorry, but you’re just going to have to remember your passport next time you cross the border.

Lastly, but arguably most importantly: Scotland - a different country, by the way - is living under what is essentially a Conservative Government which they categorically did not vote for. And frankly, I don’t blame them for wanting to get away from that.
